Adelaide Weather Information
Long periods of continuous rainfall in Adelaide are quite rare. Average rainfall is 585mm with most of it between May and August. Temperatures range from a mean maximum of 30 degrees C in January to an average of 15 degrees C in July.

Sunny mild days are typical of Adelaide during spring, with daylight saving making it ideal for an evening stroll & a meal outside at one of the many hundreds of alfresco cafe's and restaurants that are such a feature of Adelaide.

Summer sees long sunny warm to hot days with mild nights. A hat is a very good idea for periods out in the full au
ssie sun.

If going to the outback of South Australia during the summer months, take plenty of water and stay on the major highways. If your vehicle breaks down it is important to stay with it and if possible send for help.

Walking away from a stranded vehicle in Australia's outback is not recommended.
